Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Tidelo ("we", "our", "us") operates the Tidelo task management application at tidelo.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store the following information from your Google account:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture

Google Calendar Data

With your consent, we request read-only access to your Google Calendar (via the calendar.readonly scope). This allows Tidelo to display your calendar events alongside your tasks. We do not modify, delete, or share your calendar data. Calendar events are fetched in real time and are not permanently stored on our servers.

User-Generated Content

We store the tasks, projects, and other content you create within Tidelo. This data is associated with your account and is necessary to provide the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Tidelo service
  • Display your name and profile picture within the application
  • Send important service-related communications (e.g., security alerts)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data

We do not share, transfer, sell, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — We use Supabase for data storage and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data solely on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. They do not have independent rights to use your data.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose your data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

Google Calendar data is fetched in real time, displayed to you within the application, and is not stored on our servers or shared with any third party. We do not transfer Google user data to any AI or machine learning models.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database service with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth & Google Calendar API — for authentication and displaying your calendar events
  • Supabase — for data storage and authentication
  • Vercel — for hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their handling of your data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Revoke Tidelo's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions

9. Changes to This Policy
